Why we built it
A restaurant can serve 200 perfect meals in a week and still watch a single 1-star review drag down the rating it spent years earning. Meanwhile, the 190 happy guests? They mean well — but asking them to "find us on Google" converts at a painful one or two percent.
NudgeMap started as a single counter QR sticker for a local cafe: scan, tap a rating, and happy customers land directly on the Google review form while unhappy ones reach the manager privately first. That one sticker changed the cafe's rating within weeks — and became the product you see today.
What we do now
Today NudgeMap pairs those counter QR funnels with automated WhatsApp receipt nudges, so businesses capture feedback at the table and after the visit. A Gemini-powered assistant drafts empathetic replies to every review and flags serious complaints to managers immediately — with a human always in the loop before anything is posted publicly.
Thousands of scan events later, our rule of thumb hasn't changed: if a feature doesn't make a customer's feedback easier to give or a business's response faster to deliver, it doesn't ship.
